We went to Blanding particularly for this museum. We stayed there about 4 hours. They had two or three really great exhibitions set up and in their permanent collection they have some artifacts that you can only see at their museum. Outdoors there is a small excavation. That said we are folks who normally spend a lot of time in museums... so as Michelle said, 1 - 2 hours might be an average.
