There are buses or taxis. Walking is also possible but depends on your fitness and luggage.

Hi Eileen. Quedlinburg, Wernigerode and Erfurt are all worth a visit. So is Buchenwald (near Erfurt) and Mittelbau Dora (near Nordhausen) if you are interested in the Holocaust. To do all this, best hire a car. If you just want to go from one city to another, a train would be better. If you are new to driving in Europe, do some research on the rules of the road.... there are some major differences. All but the most expensive hire-cars have manual gearboxes. Have a good trip.
