Hello Traveler. If you are really into quilts, you could spend the whole day there. If you want to have a glimpse into an important element of the American experience, but don't need to examine every single quilt, in minute detail, a couple hours or even a little less will work for you! Spare some time to see the riverfront and the murals on the flood wall. Downtown Paducah is a great place to spend the day.
