Adem Yze (/ ˈ uː z eɪ / OO-zay; born 21 September 1977) [2] is an Australian rules football coach and former player. He played for the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL), and is senior coach of the Richmond Football Club .

Recruited from Shepparton United in the Goulburn Valley Football League, Adem Yze played TAC Cup with the Murray Bushrangers before being drafted to Melbourne with pick 16 in the 1994 National Draft. Yze made his senior debut in 1995, and over a 14-year career amassed 271 games for the Demons which included 226 consecutive appearances.

Yze joined the Demons following the 2020 season and, in a senior assistant coaching role, was charged with the responsibility of the midfield group.

In 2001 he won the Bluey Truscott medal as Melbourne’s best player. He amassed heaps of kicks each game and was AFL’s leading kick getter in 2001, 2 and 4. 2002 saw Adem have a special year in top form which enabled him to be selected as an “All Australian”. He also represented Australia against Ireland.
