Bottom line: You'd have to be that rare combination of "stupid" and "wealthy" to buy a brand, new Skylane -- and I'm sure Cessna knows this. 2014年3月10日 · Cessna 182 Buyer's Guide (1956-1986) For what was important for me and my missions, my research led me to ideally be a P or Q model and I wound up with a 1973 182P which is generally considered the "sweet spot" but that is a completely subjective term in what YOU value as important in your plane.

2015年10月31日 · I checked with MT based on the suggestions here, but it was just that much too far out of my price range. 2 blade was less than $8500, 3 blade Scimitar $10,100, and MT was over $14K. I could stretch $1600 over the 2 blade, but $5500 over was a new Garmin GTX-345 transponder. Why a new prop? My old McCauley 203 was "old".

2021年9月6日 · I have the full STOL kit on my 1956 172. I have installed over 20 on 172's and 182's.We always did before and after testing. Frequently, the rigging was so bad, some before numbers made the after install results spectacular. At the CPA Rigging class my 172 was used for the early model sample plane. John had a former Cessna test pilot to help.

2005年2月24日 · Comparing a 182 to a Dakota is pretty much a subjective issue. The two planes have virtually identical performance, capability, and operating costs, although the Dakota has the typically lower purchase price of a Piper compared to a comparable Cessna -- there just seems to be more demand for Cessnas.

2009年5月12日 · Sorry took so long to reply. There is no comparison to the storage between the 206 and 182. The 206 is huge the 182 has a slightly bigger storage space of a 172. The cargo doors on the 206 makes loading and unloading simple. As for late model versus early model not sure the differences except electronics are much.

Covers Hangar, Insurance (liability and hull), Databases, routine maintenance, annual inspections, and more. Hangar rent alone is $300 per aircraft. I feel I am getting quite a good value for the price.

2018年7月4日 · And the brakes are pretty touchy on the R182 - I think they used the same brakes as the straight leg 182 but with the tires being so small, a pilot who's used to a straight leg 182 will easily lock up the R182. (Ask the guy who had 400 hours in the straight 182 and then did his commercial in the R182 - That'd be me.)

2013年10月16日 · The 182 is a completely different airframe from the 172. Early 182s (1956-61, models 182 through 182D) were basically a Cessna 180 with a nosewheel. These were only about half an inch wider inside than a 172. With the Model 182D (1962) the 182 got a completely new fuselage that is four inches wider.
