2015年2月15日 · Ok, I have my Roland TD11 set connect to my presonus interface via it's midi jack. I have the interface connected to my recording laptap via firewire. My DAW (cheap version of Cakewalk) sees the midi inputs of the drums. What do I do next? I want to have separate tracks and have them so I can use different sets during mix down.

2022年4月7日 · I'd like a portable, digital solution for mixing and recording band practice with e-drums (Roland TD-10 module), live guitar (SM57), direct bass (Darkglass Vintage Ultra), and live vocals (SM58). If we play a party, we may use acoustic drums, so I'd like enough inputs to accommodate the extra mic inputs whenever that happens.

2008年3月26日 · I have a Boss DR770 and know how to program the machine. Steep learning curve, but pretty easy once you get over the hump. My main concern with the SR18 is the quality of the samples, I can deal with modern sounds by writing modern music. The Boss sounds thin compared to good quality loops like Drums on Demand and Discrete Drums.

2024年5月24日 · Lots of their stuff is useful and good. The one I actually Like the most is the Dimension D “chorus”, the Roland rack version of the boss dimension c pedal. The chamber based reverbs are pretty sweet. Some of their stuff is just “fine” though, and it’s priced like that now if you follow their sales.

2021年10月21日 · There are much better and more advanced ways to program drums these days - DAWs have better drum sounds, and are easier to edit. I owned an Alesis SR-16 for a couple of years and I do like the sounds, but it is a pain in the backside to program and edit patterns and put a song together with it. I sold it after I switched to Cubase.

2021年8月3日 · My 3 piece classic rock band; gtr, bass drums and 3 vocals needs a new pa and the bass player bought a single Evolve 30M for solo gigs. We just picked up a second tower to try out tomorrow. Anyone use this system for gigging? We re mostly playing small bar gigs with 50 to 100 people give or take. Occasionally maybe an outside gig.

2021年2月20日 · I even recorded MIDI from the electronic drum kit, so we could replace the drums if we wanted to. MIDI did not work as well for really long recordings - I would just hit record and let it run for the 3 hours we played and the MIDI would drift out of sync pretty noticeably after 20-30 minutes, but I think that's a MIDI issue rather than anything ...
