Cool Dragon Ball Super has an actually nice opening theme as well, comes with every version/release and easy to find. Cool Dragon Ball GT has an intro in English called Step Into The Grand Tour which I actually like as well.

Therefore, without context, DBZ starts fairly whacky and punchy from the getgo. But with context provided, Raditz terrorizing everyone out of absolutely nowhere is just straight up awesome.

If Toriyama was the benevolent overseer providing high-level direction and a more compete writing crew took that and ran with it, DBZ probably would have been closer to what TFS has created.
