The Harris County Tax Office offers electronic delivery of property tax bills as an alternative to paper tax bills. Registration for electronic tax bills for the 2024 tax year is now closed. New registrations will be effective starting with the 2025 tax year.

The Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector’s Office Property Tax Division maintains approximately 1.5 million tax accounts and collects property taxes for 70 taxing entities including Harris County.

The Harris County Tax Office collects for the Houston, Katy, Deer Park, and the former North Forest Independent School Districts now a part of the Houston ISD. If you live in another school district please contact the tax assessor-collector for your district.
