Overbrook Educational Center, or OEC, serves kindergarten through 8th graders from across the city. We have lottery-based admissions as well as the only District program for Visually Impaired/Blind (VIB) students.

In 2019, OEC was designated a Community School by City and District officials, which has enabled it to form stronger partnerships that enhance student, family, and neighborhood engagement.

As a Community School, Overbrook Educational Center collaborates with the City of Philadelphia, the School District, community-based organizations, and the residents of Philadelphia to pave the way for student success.

2024年12月7日 · As a city-wide school, enrollment can take place after students are given seats via the centralized School Selection process that takes place each fall. Students with the need for specialized instruction may be assigned to OEC by the Office of Diverse Learners.
