2020年8月19日 · For tele landscapes you could also use the Sony 70-200mm f4, or even the new Tamron 70-180mm f2.8, weighing 840g and 810g respectively. Then if you want a really small lightweight walkabout package you could use the A7R IV with Sony-Zeiss 35mm f2.8 or Samyang 35mm f2.8, crazy small.

2020年8月14日 · As per the other thread I've gone D850 > Z7 > Sony A7R IV and I don't have any regrets. All are great, and all capable of most things. The Sony system suits me better at the moment, and performance is excellent, but the Z7 is nicer to hold.

2023年8月30日 · As above. Also, I don't know how powerful the growing light will be, but as long as you set the camera shutter speed to a reasonable figure - and the Sony a7R iv can be set to 1/250th second - the growing light should have zero effect on the flash exposures.

2024年7月20日 · Canon to Nikon was because the D810 was miles better for landscapes that the forthcoming 5D IV and then when I was looking to move to mirrorless the Z6 had terrible AF so that made me move to Sony and an A9/A7R iv. I think the cameras I have are so good now that I may be seduced by another Sony but it would be far too much hassle to change brands.

2019年12月16日 · Well, by my reckoning, you’ll need the Sony A7R IV to get a higher pixel density FF sensor than the current crop of APS-C sensors (which are about 24 MP) - assuming I’ve read the specs properly “Nikon D7200 has a pixel density of 6.62 MP/cm²” “Fujifilm X-T3 has a pixel density of 7.13 MP/cm²”

2023年5月25日 · That's a fair point in respect of checking out Canons offerings, I seem to have got caught up on Sony so haven't really explored other brands but being able to use my current lens would be a huge plus. Would you say that the A7R 3 is a better bet from a value for money perspective or simply the sensor being the standout over the A7III and A7IV?

2013年10月14日 · Using the A7R V it’s made me realise how spoilt ‘we’ are these days. Shooting at 8fps feels extremely pedestrian (10 fps doesn’t show a real time view) and the blackout is rather distracting, however I coped perfectly well when I had my D750 (6.5fps with blackout) or the A7R IV which has the same continuous shooting as the A7R V

2013年10月14日 · I also changed out my Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 for the Sony 12-24mm f/2.8 and my Sony 85G.M for the Sigma 85 f/1.4. Can't see me changing out to much this year either. I will probably change out my last A9 for either another A9III or an A1 II at some point and maybe the Sigma 85 f/1.4 for the Sony 85G.MII.
