I have 2 external monitors connected to my dock: 1) Ultrawide (3440x1200) 2) Full HD (1920x1080) The fan noise is extremely loud. Lately, when the laptop is connected to the dock, the laptop screen gets crazy hot. Like unbelievably hot to the touch. I'm concerned it's going to damage the display. Is it possible to plug the surface dock connector into the screen (with the centre of the three sets of contacts) so you can extend the monitor without the keyboard attached?
